Senior Economist & Task Team Leader of the World Bank, Dr. Moritz Meyer visited the Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Punjab on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, for a meeting with the Worthy Director General, BoS Punjab, Mr. Sajid Rasul, who was accompanied by the relevant Officers of the Bureau. Director General, BoS, Punjab gave the brief introduction of the organization. He also shared the organizational structure, field formation and major functions of the Bureau. Dr. Moritz Meyer shared a presentation on work program of the World Bank Poverty and Equity Global Practice in Pakistan. He showed pleasure over the active role being played by the BoS Punjab to support effective decision making.
